BETA Members Succeed in French Lick

A total of sixteen (16) Sr Beta Members and thirty (30) Jr Beta Members traveled to the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana on Friday, November 17 for the 27th Annual Sr Beta Convention and the 4th Annual Jr Beta Conventions: Beta on My Mind. Sr Beta members stayed for a 2nd day of conference activities, including the induction of new Sr Beta state officers on the 18th. There were 2,193 Sr Beta members present representing 25 Clubs present while 1048 Jr Beta representing 24 clubs were present.

Sr Beta and Jr Beta members participated in academic, onsite, group, and team competitions as well as special talent.
The following awards were garnered by Sr and Jr Beta Members:
- Language Arts: Cansas Rhodes (3rd Place-7th grade) 
Science: Hank Skomp (2nd Place-7th grade) Christopher Royal (1st Place-8th grade) 
Social Studies: Brett Sherrard (2nd place-7th grade) Wyatt Frye (2nd place-8th grade) 
Math: Ethan Dean (3rd place-8th grade) 
Onsite Poetry: Travist Priest (1st place) 
Tower of Power: Ansley Ross, Ethan Schantz, Rylee Schantz, Emma Vaught, Ryan Schulte (2nd place) 
Quiz Bowl: Kylee Tollet, David Dixon, Ethan Schantz, Ryan Schulte (1st place)
