Students in Mrs. Nancy Hudson's Careers and Personal Finance classes played The Stock Market Game all year.  We had winners and losers!

The game began in September, and BHS fielded 26 teams.  In total, there were 196 teams representing all of Indiana and Michigan. Each team started with $100,000 (play money), and could invest in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or a savings account.  The game concluded on April 13, and the all-freshmen team of Max Andrew, Matthew Evans, and Noah Rash placed first, for Bloomfield and first for the entire 196 team field from two states!  They gained $30,698.51 over their original amount of $100,000. The boys refused to share their investing techniques, but they may be looking for careers in the financial field now.

Nineteen of the Bloomfield teams earned money, while seven teams came up shy of the $100,000.  Other teams from Indiana included Brownsburg, Attica, Brown County, Knightstown, Princeton, North Wood, Vincennes Rivet, and Western High School.

The other Bloomfield teams finished: 5, 6, 13, 15, 21,24, 27, 30, 38, 39, 48, 54, 55, 62, 71, 72, 84, 88,104,124, 130, 146, 151, 162, and 167 out of the Region's 196 teams.
